STABLE RULES
Posted here for the convenience of KSH clientele.
Boarding:

1. KSH has ultimate decision in which pasture horses live.
2. Boarders are allowed but not required to store tack in the on-site tack room.
- One (1) saddle rack
- One (1) halter hook
- One (1) bridle hook
- Space for brushes or additional small tack under saddle rack
3. Riding, working horses, or otherwise being at the farm is open only in designated areas and at designated times (see Riding).
4. Boarders have access to pastures that their own horses are in.
5. Boarders have access to their own horses.
6. Boarders will request permission to use KSH horses, tack, and/or equipment in any capacity.
7. Boarders will vaccinate horses before arrival to KSH facilities, and each spring in the proceeding calendar year(s).

Riding:

1. Open riding times: 7 A.M. to 7 P.M.
2. Open riding facilities include: indoor arena, outdoor arena, hay field, Travis' fields.
3. Riding facilities are not open concurrently, as their availability is dependent upon weather and other factors.
- Indoor arena: Open year round.
- Outdoor arena: Open at all times except when wet, snowy, and/or icy, and during thunderstorms.
- Hay field: Open during summer as approved by Kylee Short-Edwards.
- Travis' fields: Open at Travis Family discretion; get permission from Kylee Short-Edwards and/or Travis Family.
4. Riding facilities are closed when in use for lessons.
5. Riders under 18 must wear a helmet unless otherwise stated by parent or guardian. KSH has a limited number of helmets to borrow.
6. Boarding clients are allowed to ride only their horses. Lesson clients are allowed to ride only horses designated and approved by Kylee Short-Edwards. This can change at any time for any reason, no questions asked.

General:
​
1. If anything is out of the ordinary, broken, or otherwise inadequate please bring it to the attention of Kylee Short-Edwards or Tanner Edwards.
2. Clean up after yourself -- manure, personal items, and KSH items used, trash, etc.
3. Refrain from parking behind the Buick Enclave.
4. HAVE FUN while you are at KSH facilities!

Our farm is your "horsey" home and we want to encourage a family-like atmosphere with open communication for satisfied horses and clients.
